Today I am a Pirate

We had so much fun welcoming in our little pirate crew-mates to school. All the children arrived dressed up as a pirate with colours of black, red, white stripes and bandannas, face painted scars and beards, eye patches, hand hooks and swords. Rrrrrr matey walk the plank!

The morning started off with a treasure hunt where each child got a chance to find a pack of chocolate gold coins, and little treasure toys.

They continued to activity filled morning with an obstacle course designed for all ages. We had throwing games to knock over a stack of cross-skull imaged cans, and throwing a hoop over a pointed sword (plastic of course). We had one class teacher set up a pin the eye patch to the pirate, and another class teacher face-painted little motifs on the kiddies hands. We had a walk the plank balance beam game and an aiming and throwing game.

Here are a few photos of the day’s fun
